Hello

I'm Val Rogers.  I'm an intuitive  creative entertainer that loves to perform. Being a great singer is normal- being a great entertainer is rare.  Knowing your audience, crowd, musicians and surroundings is key to creating a positive memorable experience for all.

From Soloist to Jazzy trio to the sounds of Mo-town, Swing, Broadway, Country and Pop the repertoire I perform can please the most discerning audience members.  Have a song or style you're needing?  Let me know.  I've created specific shows and tunes around clients needs (1920's, T.V. Show Themes for example)

Below is a quick sampling of one of my specialty cabaret shows:  "Drinks on Me"

Val Rogers is an accomplished vocalist, writer, arranger, entertainer and conceptual artist. She has solely produced multiple cabaret shows at the charming Chestnut Street Playhouse in Norwich, CT.

Her originality and unique talents stem from touring Europe and the Mediterranean with the USO and DOD. She continues her veterans work by performing with -and for -many Veteran focused events.

She co-owns the acclaimed 12-piece “Red Satin Band” and is the primary vocalist with area Big Bands. She studied vocal performance at the University of Connecticut and earned a Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Master of Public Administration degree at UConn.

With thousands of performances under her belt, she has gained reviews such as:

“she’s a complete performer”

“Val is absolutely the best”,

and “Great style, presence, audience appeal – and amazing voice!”.

She lives in Willington, CT with her “high-school” sweetheart-husband, Scot.  She has two sons, two rescue dogs, two rescue donkeys plus, countless weeds in her lovely gardens.

Val is available for Emceeing events such as fashion shows, corporate dinner events, private functions and simply being the "voice" that a party needs.

She frequents Connecticut's Assisted Living Centers, Senior Centers, Veterans groups and and Health Care Facilities with her pianist and trio musicians.
