Having navigated through the school system of Willington, Val dedicated countless hours to honing her skills as a singer and performer, participating in various school plays, talent shows, and music competitions.

These formative experiences not only helped her develop her vocal abilities but also instilled in her a sense of confidence and stage presence that she carries with her to this day.

During her high school years and the early days of her college experience, Val was selected to participate in a highly competitive audition process to sing with the Liberty Misses, an esteemed USO overseas tour group. This opportunity was a turning point in her career, allowing her to travel and perform for troops stationed abroad, sharing the joy of music and uplifting spirits during challenging times. It was here that Val met her forever best friends, individuals who share her passion for music and performance. Together, they forged bonds that would last a lifetime, supporting one another through the ups and downs of their artistic journeys.
