Tuxedo Junction: The Sounds of Swing is a 18-piece big band that's been playing 

on the CT shoreline since 1989. We 'rehearse' in public at the wonderful VFW on the Mill Pond in Guilford every Monday from 7:00 to 8:30. Four trumpets, four trombones, five saxes, bass, drum, piano and guitar play your favorite listening and dance music reminiscent of the Big Band Era. We are serious about keeping the American Songbook alive and well.

We encourage dancers, there's plenty of room to dance! Bring all of your friends! Bring the family!

No need to be a member of the Guilford VFW to get in the front door. The VFW is open to the public for our live Monday rehearsals. Parking Is very easy; there are NO STAIRS! If you don't know where the Mill Pond is, set your GPS to the 'TILE SHOP'. The driveway to the VFW is behind the Tile Shop
